Guild History History: Soulmask

A fun, but quickly-dead sandbox.

Soulmask was a fun survival we went into launch with. With “stitched” servers, we were able to fight up to 8 other PvP servers and their associated clans/guilds on each. We were told the best of the best would go server 1, so we rolled there and met with old friends and enemies alike. We had the pleasure of seeing the rise and fall of names such as Death and Taxes, Epherium, and more before becoming the solo clan owning our server.

Weeks later, many fights and much drama had passed and we started to invade the other servers in cluster 1, one by one. Systematically assigning scouts, then shotcallers to attack each, within 2 months we had wiped or subjugated every single other clan on cluster 1. We recorded the base wipes of over 50 clans, many of which we knew from previous games such as Last Oasis and Ashes of Creation. As we remained the final pvp clan in Soulmask Season 1, we spoke with the developers to give them feedback as the player population dwindled.
